How do you price you working line puppies? - Page 1

I have a Yoschy von der Döllenwiese grand daughter via Tarzan Tiekerhook. She is solid as a rock and my personal dog with nice civil drives not titled. Same as her sister: http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/442529.html Brother went to FCI world. Siblings working well. And a LGA dog as the sire. (http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/368250.html) The puppies look great but not sure what to ask for them. Just want them to go to nice homes and give some folks a chance to get some nice genetics at a reasonable price. Thanks.

Hi Mikee. Well, because she is not titled, that brings the price down automatically. The lines look decent to me - my husband would like them. I would say you are looking at the $600 range...might be able to get $800.

do the bitches hips, and show put out some videos where you can see her temperament, nerves, and bite; if all the above satisfactory, I would be willing to pay up to $800, k.

$600 - $800 sounds about right, most folks want to see a dog titled, but then again there are folks who get $1000 - $1500 for puppies from untitled females. Its all a matter of who you want to sell to and how well you market the female, male and your self. I'd rather see video of the dog working than a title, There are a lot of SH*T dogs out there w/ titles and a great makeitng team.

Why dont we just try and be sincere and help Mikee with his question? I would say and Im not into work linie but $1,000 would be reasonable , sight un-seen?

HA -- IMO does not bring down the price -- titled or not titled - !! bottom line -- what are the phenotypic and gernotypic lineages -- what are the structural and behavioral characteristics .. and most of all are they healthy ?? -- sometimes i wonder -- the foolishness of humans !! do you know how many VA 1 and VA progeny have sired very poor specimans of the GSD ?? Sch 3 to boot == please people -- get off the moeny bit -- look , listen and leasrn .. and please le3arn to think for yourselves thereafter !! besides i have also seen a great GSD many a time not tilted for one re4ason or another and i could have shown you as well as tol;d you what an oputstanding GSD that person had -- please give me a break -- besides check out Fred Lantings articles -- one of the very few GSD people not worried about telling it how it is -- your pups worth are based on a number of factors ..not just titles !! good luck !!
