As my title says, she is adjusting well! Beau LOVES her! So do we... We haven't had any calls on her (from her actual owners, just a few "gangstas" trying to see how "strong" she is, and if she's naturally "mean" - yeah, don't even get me started!!!)

SO WE'RE KEEPING HER!

We also named her Abigale (Abby for short) after a childhood Britney Spaniel I knew growing up, who oddly enough died (at the ripe age of 15, mind you!) the same day we saved Abby, so we named her in honor of the deceased Abby!

Anyway, please enjoy the new pictures. My camera's not the best, and the background certainly isn't beautiful, but I hope these at least capture her beauty, both inside and out.

Not a mean bone in her stubby little body, she is a total angel, and loves Beau. She is VERY affectionate with me, and is fond of Nickolis. Gotta say guys, I think she's a keeper!

It was THIS face, RIGHT HERE, that made me decide I had to keep this girl!

Aw, who could resist THAT look, from a Pit.  She's almost human !
Y'know, I HATE funny coloured eyes in GSDs; ... but on Abby's colouring, I quite like that light-eyed
look.  Glad to know she is settling in okay.

Thanks you two! Not sure how I forgot to upload these two pictures of her, though!

Sun was setting with this one:

And this one, she just steals our heart with her cuteness! If you look closely in the back on her leg, you can see a little laceration, we found that after she came home from the vet Shift+R improves the quality of this image. Shift+A improves the quality of all images on this page.

Wow, looks like two different dogs!  Her coat obviously reflects color!  LOL  She's beautiful and why am I not surprised you are keeping her?  Good job!

Wonderful that she's staying with you. I too rescued a female pit 6 years ago, and she's been the sweetest, most loving calm dog that has loved children of all ages, all dogs male or female, pups to adults, and all 4 of our cats.  I still say it's not the breed, it's how they are raised.  Ours is wonderful.

I like the one that shows the sore spot.  Those EYES!!!!  So knowing!!!  Looks as if the accident was just meant to be, so that you and she would meet and get together!!!  Why knows???  I think so!!!

Watch out!! That dog's going to bite you one day, all Pit Bulls will turn on their owners.....  Totally kidding, but it's crazy how often you will hear that from people.  Good luck with her, she's a nice looking dog. Any idea how old? Or did I miss that in your post?

GSDGuy, she was around a year and a half, the vet who examined her had said? It's really anyone's guess, but she is just a gem! Loves EVERYONE. At least I have Beau to guard the truck when we're gone, this girl would let them in and help them pack the shit they were stealing LMAO
