I see a very nice dog who is not sure of what you expect. I hope you listened to the Judges critique. He gave you some really good advice. Get with your helper and break his training down into shorter more direct sessions and make sure he is clear on each segment of the routine. Also, the dog seems really aware of what you are doing on the field. Ask your helper/training director to see what is going on there so you can correct this. The dog should have his full attention on the helper. How old is the dog??

Super nice dog who can V score if you don't give away all the points ? :-)
A 93 score was VERY generous, there was lots of places the Judge could have taken points away but didn't.
Take more time between the Heir - Revier on the blind search. I wait at least till the dog is half way to me before I send him to the next blind. On the call out it should be two close commands HEIR-FUSS not just fuss. On the set up for the escape bite. Make sure the dog shows the basic position SIT before downing him. On both the heeling aways to the long bite and at the conclusion and the side escort. Tell the dog to SIT if he doesn't auto sit on his own when you approach. A SIT command can also mean stop barking
and calm down a little. After you report out you need to heel away 5 paces before you hook up the leash, to show control. Be real careful with "corrections" on the fur saver.
That can get you DQ'd. If he doesn't heel away from the decoy it's better to drag him off, then to leash pop/correct him. Power is nice and your dog has it, but without control you'll struggle every time you trial. Not all that bad for a first IPO I and you get props for posting the video online. How is his tracking and obedience?

IPO is a leaning process for both new handlers and young dogs. Your scores should only go higher.
Congrats.

Koach,
Not neccessarily so. The scores you're given at the IPO I level you'll be expected to earn at the IPO II and III. The scores you're given at your club trial. Aren't what you'll get at the regionals or Nationals............just sayin
