This was the first time I had ever done an OFA Dentition Database cert on a dog before, but I know with every other test I've ever done with dogs (DM, Hips, Heart, Elbows) the results ALWAYS appeared on OFA's website BEFORE I ever received anything in the mail.

Mind you, this could just be MY personal experience but I was curious if anyone else had any issues or strange occurances with having the Dentition cert done?

**EDITED TO ADD: I initial the box to release abnormal results, but Beau's dentition was spot on anyway. Not sure if that makes a difference? They charged me the $15 and as mentioned above, I DO have the OFA issued certificate in hand, so...?**

check back in a week or two, it'll probably be there then.  It seems that recently they've been taking longer to update their website.  One of my friends had their dog OFA'd a month or so ago and they received the certificate a week before it showed online.

Yes check back - it takes a couple of weeks to post the results on ofa website

I believe the delay is so that you can contact them in case there was any errors on the certificate (like the name  misspelled, registration or date of birth incorrect, etc - then that gives them a chance to correct the info before posting it.

That's the thing though, I have been doing OFA for years now, and have NEVER seen them send paperwork before listing on their Database...just funny as the "why now" thing...

Oh well, like I said, I have his paperwork so that's what counts to me, I guess?

It took 2 weeks after I had my paper cert before my dogs were posted in their database....I think it odd that yours were different before, but I still wouldn't sweat it, it'll get there. jackie harris
