Might I suggest you not leave her side from now on.

I hate to say this///but do you see any evidence she has had one pup yet???

Is she wet around vulva or legs?

I have had one bitch ,that ate each pup immediately when she had them

Your girl seems to have those same tendencies. I would not breed this females again if she has no pups this time.

I will reserve why I said this until you are thru with and for sure you have or have not pups..

Hi YR

No puppies yet, I'm a hundred percent sure.
She does stay with me. Just that when I woke up she seems less "bloated."

But nothing, no wet floor, no puppy. I check her last night before going to bed and she was normal as ever.

Is she panting yet or seem like she is in pain yet?  Fast breathing?

Watch for that to start. Then she will loose big amount of fluid and shortly after should start the process ..if puppy is down in canal you should time how long she is in labor..

She will be panting and breathing hard with intervals of calm ...Watch for her to start pushing...

From then you want to time her and if nothing in three hours seek vet.

Hi Yellow,

Nope, no panting. We went for a 15 minute slow walk and she's normal.
Her vulva is still a bit moist with the mucus yesterday but that's it. She liked her walk this morning.

Vet came in and squeezed her teats.
Some milk came out according to him. I'm prepped already right now, temp readings and all. Her due date is MOnday.

SO odd where she keeps the puppies to think she hasn't gained any  size.

Did you ever have this female xrayed? One xray will tell you if she is PG or not.

Vet came in and squeezed her teats???????

Did he indicate to you If he thought she was pregnant or Not????

Many bitches can have milk and still be having a phantom!!

Hope for you she is pregnant but from what you have told us "I think not"

I would have done an xray, just to save me sleepless nights.

EuroShepherd

I've seen many bitches go through false pregnancies with some or all signs that they were pregnant (even when they had not been bred) one of my female GSDs has a false pregnancy every single darn cycle.  She was 3 yrs old when I bred her for her first litter and she had 8 pups and gave me a good heads up when she started her labor.  The second time I bred her it didn't look like she was pregnant and she did not go through her normal cyclical behavior of false pregnancy/real pregnancy.  Yet, one week early from the time she had been bred, she birthed 2 puppies.  I was mortified because I had gone grocery shopping and left her in her cage (thankfully my cages are the giant size for danes and mastiffs) and when I came home I discovered her nestling with her 2 puppies and not a SINGLE sign of actual birth (as in, no body size lost, her cage was spotless, her body was spotless, the pups were perfectly dry with umbilical cords neatly removed, and I had only been gone 2 hours.

Ladystark, you really should have your girl x-rayed, if she does have a singleton it may be too large for her to deliver and she may not tell you if she is in distress until it's too late.

Gotta love that, EuroShepherd! LOL You feel like a pretty rotten mom, don't you? Capri pulled that on me around day 56 when I wasn't sure she was pregnant; I shut her in my bathroom (15x8) so I could get some housework done w/out her bugging me and carrying my cleaning supplies around, and less than an hour after that, I went into the bathroom to clean it and she's made a nest w/my laundry and was nursing 2 gorgeous, clean puppies, looking quite proud of herself. The last wasn't so lucky...she had him on the deck going outside to potty. She turned around, sniffed him, decided he could wait 4 seconds, ran downstairs, peed, and came back up and grabbed him and took him inside to clean him up. That was he second litter, when I learned that she will no longer give me any signs to go by as far as when to get the whelping box ready, etc. It's only gotten worse from there, lol. Good news is they all turned out fine! I just felt like a rotten mom. :-(

I'm really interested to see how this "litter" pans out, if they exist. I would be really anxious and would probably opt for an ultrasound or xray at this point so I know what to worry about, if I should be worried. Good luck to you both!
