Greenlawns

by Greenlawns on 29 October 2006 - 14:10

Hi all, I'm a bit confused with the information I have at hand (the blood report of my GSD) and what I read on the internet. Can someone give me an insight on what the normal range needs to be for the following: Serum Bilirubin (ie: DIRECT, INDIRECT, TOTAL - MG/DL) Serum Transaminase (ie: SGOT, SGPT - IU/L) Serum Protein (ie ALBUMIN, GLOBULIN, TOTAL - G/DL & ALBUMIN: GLOBULIN RATIO) Serum Phosphatase (ie: ALKALINE PHOSPHATASE - IU/L) Thanks in advance.

Greenlawns, It makes a difference which lab did the work. So it is better to look at the individual report to see their range for normal, elevated etc. Do you have the actual hard copy report or did your vet just tell you values were off somehow? If you want to email me privately, perhaps I can help you. schwarzenberggsd@earthlink.net
