To Whom It May Concern ; I am just curious as to why everytime that I post a message on this forum I seem get the brunt of a lot of peoples wrath. WHY ???  There is way too much backstabbing on here. Why can't everyone just GET Along ? If all you have to say is vulger words or what is seen as bad , WHY say anything at all ??

To those who did offer a warm and kind thoughts , THANKS SO MUCH...........

Thats just the way it is on this forum.  Just have to develop thick skin in order to survive on here.  Most people on here are good people and when they say negative things, its not because they are actually directed it at the owner of the post or comment.  It may be just an "In-general" comment they said, and not intended to be personal.  Not all negative comments are directed to be personal.  Don't be discouraged, try again. On this forum, you kinda got to earn the respect of others.  Hope this helps.

A sure-fire way to elicit wrath from a lot of people here is to post about breeding your immature male to your still not fully mature female, neither of them having any health clearances (hips, elbows, heart, DM, etc.) or any assessment from a qualified third-party as to the working ability of either dog, nor any third-party evaluation of how closely either dog physically stacks up against the breed standard.  Ratchet up the ire a bit by asking for comments as to what color the pups will be, instead of being concerned about physical and mental soundness...

Has nothing to do with 'that's just the way it is on this forum'.  There are too freakin' many GSDs put to death each week at animal shelters across the USA, for no reason beyond the person who bought them didn't do their homework, and the person who sold them didn't give a flying f*** about anything beyond getting that cash out of the buyer's hands, to make anyone with a conscience sit on their hands when yet another 'I'm clueless but I bred my dogs because they have working reproductive organs and there's no law against me doing it' type of post comes along. This kind of posting will get the same kind of response no matter WHERE it's posted--unless there's a web forum strictly for people breeding their dogs for money.

When you post that you just "mated" a year old male and 18 month old female neither titled or health tested and you want to know "what colors" you can expect?
You can expect to get the brunt of some peoples wrath.

I think the members treated you good. I have seen much worse here. They are actually trying to help you to see breeding dogs before they mature is not sound breeding. Nor is breeding without doing OFA xrays at the very least is sound breeding.

Take their advice and make sure when breeding you do it the proper way in the future. They are only letting you know what you have done is not the proper way to breed. IMHO.

You also have to remember, this is a PUBLIC forum. When you post, in anyway, shape or form, you are leaving yourself, your pictures, etc... open for anything, be it compliments, nasty remarks, etc... the people here have as much right to comment on your post(s) as YOU do to post them.

Granted I do not agree with the breeding you have done (there have been plenty of breedings done with even less thought though, at least at 18 months old, your bitch's health shouldn't be impacted TOO much from it all) but my answer above was give from an unbiased approach.

If you find the members of the board are a little too agressive for your taste, find a few that seem both knowledable and respectful, and write them privately. At least that way you won't get a bunch of commentary on what you've written.

Good luck.

EDITED: to change "personally" to "privately"

Very well said, Hexe!

K9262, Regarding your particular post, I see no wrath or backstabbing. I did not comment on your other post, but quite frankly, what you have done really upsets me, as it does to many others here.

As for the puppies you will soon be bringing into this world, I sure hope for the best for them. At least sell them with limited registration so others will not be as likely to follow in your path. That's at least a way you can try to make things right and won't perpetuate the mistake you have made. JMO

From what I can tell, most posters were not harsh with the OP.
