I don't understand why would people use other people's dog as their own?

Could this be an error on the part of the person using the picture.? Do you really think that this person would honestly think they could pull this off with such a well known dog. I could understand if it were a picture of a less well known dog that was used, but not a dog of this calibur.
I know that I have accidently used the wrong picture but it was always with dogs within my own kennel. Nothing done intentionally. Lets just hope this person made an honest mistake.
I have seen many people use the pics of one the parents when sbmitting a pedigree on a pup produced from a certain litter. That also could be considered a form of fraud to a certain degree.
I hope this gets corrected before too much is made of it.

Hoping it is an honest mistake.

I've had some guy in my area try to sell a dog using a photo he took off of my dog's european pedigree page. I've had a few people call me to let me know about the ads. Just can't get away from those scammers!

It is nothing new on here...we had two threads going that shtal found a dog with many pictures and two false pedigrees conglomerated into three pedigrees..
Search the former posts about is this a MIStake AND IS this pedigree fake..by SHTAL..
This fraud has been going on since dogs were first registered..It makes all of us cringe.
One of the frauds we have to open eyes , be smart and read and research...and ASK questions before you buy a dog from anyone..you are not familiar with and has a good reputation
List of clients is first on the agenda to stop some of the fraud we have today. Check the list out , everyone of them...then call akc /sv yourself and verify if the papers and the score book as presented are real and true..
