Hello all! I have been checking out Yanox von Bad Boll and I really like this dog. He was SG 16 in 2005 and V 10 this year. Can you see him making VA in the near future? I think once he has some good offspring that will help him to get more recognition in the future. Do you think he has a shot at making VA in the future?

the dog to my mind is the best male produced by Larus, certainly to breed to because of the outstanding mother line. Yimmy Contra has a very high ZW and also the mother is incest zucht being 2-2 linebred. I bred my VA bitch Aike Gigelsfelsen to him and the litter is very good (5 weeks) and I have seen other pups by him who are very good quality. If he has a good progeny group he will be in consideration for a higher slot too, although V10 is an excellent placement too.

am i incorrect with this : --- the SV prohibits incest / linebreeding closer than 2/2 , which is genetically inbreeding.. ** inbreeding is incest and will eventually cause poor genetic based offspring -- incest -- without being 100% cognizant of the SV rules for breeding -- do not you need to get permission for breeding/ mating pairs in germany ?? or a cerification from the Kormeister before a breeding ... and if the previuos post's breeding was in another country ..with incest breeding ..? isn't that prohibitive from litter registration ?? this is a world forum -- truthfukllky -- i wouldn't mention let alone brag that i incest/inbreed -- the only time a inbreed may be indicated is to check/verify the recapitulation of a genetic trait and all those offspring opught to be nuetered/spayed kept as pet/companions -- kindly someone comment and elaborate -- or am i missing some info ?? thanks

I think it may be possible for Yanox in the future, as long as he matures well. Yimmy is a Hungarian bred male from a Hungarain motherline, the Hungarian Registry allow 2,2 linebreedings. A lot of good can also come from inbreeding, when done correctly and *infrequently* to bring out the good charactaristics of a bloodline. Every breeder has the freedom to do as they wish with their breeding program, and in this case the outcome was positive.

yes .. every breeder has the right to do what it wishes -- this is so -- but without being indignant or critical -- that is not my intention --- as i stated -- the only and only reason ror an inbreeding is to check for a selected genetic trait -- i will chaleenge anyone to a academic debate on this issue -- furthermore without intention of offending .. but i am right up front and an honest person -- anyone that believes the last post ought to become familiar with genetics because the statment in and of itself just goes to demonstrate a fundmnetal lack of knowledge -- two points -- firsat that close of breeding one also keeps the deleterious genes .. harmful genes as well as the traits you are selecting for -- now that's a great breeding program isn't it ?? case in point : why is it then that most cultures/people prohibit the 2/2 breeding in families ?? maybe the genetics involved ?? maybe ?? again i would not promulgate the fact that you inbreed if you wish to be successful even if it is allowed in another country
