Missed the show, had been hoping to catch it when I was done with barn chores. Could you tell me if Big and Rich were on the Lionel Richie tv special tonight? I thought I heard them mentioned during a commercial for the show. I didn't think they were performing together anymore..... n Northwinds

Northwinds:  There was defenately some DANCING ON THE CEILING  tonight.....

  YES , Big and Rich  sang the last song   BRick House as the end of the show..I did not know who they were...so I had it recorded and went to look
  This was one fabulous show.
  
  Marc Anthony and Sara Evans,  Lady Antebellum, Kenny Chestney, Darius Harper,  THe Band Perry,  Jennifer Nettles, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton,  Luke Bryan and his daughter Nicole all sang with him or did one of his wonderful songs.

 I have on my computer 40 of his songs and I am listening to them now... Stuck on YOU, and Hello are two of my very favorites as are  most all of his songs..

Kenny Rogers fessed up that he ask LIONEL to write a song for him 32 yrs ago and he did...Lionel said he had lined it for the Commodores and they didnt like it so he rewrote it that night for Kenny..and it is the song Kenny sang forever  "Lady"/  and he joked with Lionel about the second verse..He yelled "where is Lionel , I need the second verse..
His production crew said He is in the Bathroom writing it....He does better under Pressure"  lol

His new CD is now out  TUSKEGEE   at Walmart..AND IT IS  riding NO.1 now on the charts..

One of the songs of Lionels they did not do is   LOVE OH LOVE...IT IS one of his greatest done with a childrens choir and the Commodores.

Back to the music...Stuck on You, got this feeling down deep in my soul, that I just can't lose, I guess I am on my way...I needed a friend.........

I watched it too and just heard on the radio while I was driving that Lionel owes the IRS a cool million, no wonder he has come back out of the woodwork after all of these years.

   Yes, and because he is taking the music by storm again, every media including YAHOO has a big story about him and Pamela Anderson owing the IRS>>>>

Sounds like I missed a great show.  :(
I should have recorded it also.  Usually have to if I want to  watch anything as work , kids, horse and dog chores dont let me catch to much television before ten at night.
