We all know, you know, your dog's excellent, that's why you're attempting to make a false case where there's non. Your dog's excellent, given the shape/proportion of it's body members. I may not know of his health status, which to me is paramount.(note that i commented from a lay-man's view).

He looks young (as his chest hasn't "dropped" yet).  How old is he?  What is his pedigree?
Nice "stop", nice ear set.  Light eyes.  Ok front shoulder angulation.  "Dip" on back behind shoulder blades, nice pasterns (can't see his feet), nice square overall structure, nice hocks and though I lack eye for the croup, I'll say it is short and/or steep.  But overall very nicely put male.  Once mature, should be even nicer.  He is looks strong in all aspects.  Oh, and I like his sable color too.

Overall dog has balance;  personally I would like to see more pigment, really nice length of neck, nice ear set with roman nose;  really gives character in his appearance;  do not know age; cannot see eye color, would like to see dog moving as I would like to see a little more layback which would mean a little more angulation in the rear;  stacked adequately.  Pretty boy and young I presume.  Will fill out more with maturity;  topline could be better.  Nice balance.  Nan

Hey there,

I know he is a good looking dog but as far as angles and all the "show" terms I know nothing!! As a working dog which his ansistors are he is a good dog. I posted earlier and our stack was bad so we've been working on it and it has improved :)  Like I said his feet are sloppy due to his not short enough nails.  Which we are trimming every week.  So hopefully they get short enough.  I posted on another forum and they say much different things than you guys are saying....  So me knowing nothing isn't easy to distinguish what is good and what is bad.    His eyes aren't really that light, i tried to lighten up the photos because of the angle of the shadows on his face.

His whole life he grew very strange i didn't show him as a puppy as his ears were two times the size of his head!  Very awkward and odd looking.  He will be 3 at the end of June.  I also too think he has not "filled" out yet.  Neither of his parents are as sleek as he is.  I will post his pedigree.

oh also, he is 100% healthy moves well, has amazing drive and concentration.  his hip certs will be done in a few months this year (AS they are quite expensive here so were saving up for that)

Well he is a very handsome boy and I feel you could probably do any type of work your desire with him;  he will excell in some areas and maybe not in others and only you and the dog can determine that;  most importantly, enjoy him as he looks like a sweetheart of a fellow.  Nan

GTOkitty,
Just so you are aware, no one said anything bad.  The critiques given were good based on someone's personal preference and what their eye sees. Also, everyone has a different way of explaining the critique which can lead the unexperienced to not understand the true meaning. Also remember that an accurate critique can only be given via in person.
As a 3 year old, he is very young structurally and will most likely fill out.
Regardless, he is a handsome young male.

no no, I know everyone was being nice :)  and I TY for your replies.  I was just stating that I don't know "show" terms of anglulations and what not.  I Welcome any repiles :)

Take time to teach him how to gait correctly, add a bit of muscle and he will show well in conformation show......he's really nice.
