Sorry don't know much about this site just joined as I have a German Shepherd and belive they are the best dogs you can get.
I'm posting this to get a reaction hopefully a positive one where people will sign this petition. Google the story if you want. But the main point is drunken youths taped a firework inside this poor dogs mouth and lit it and they have never been brought to justice. Hopefully the link below will allow you onto the petition site.

Why is there so much cruelty in the world today?????
Here in Oz fireworks are no longer available over the counter and you require a permit to purchase or hold a display.

not sure but i have been lead to believe this is a virus unless someone can find a real article not from facebook to prove this is actually true people be careful clicking on the links

Opening up this thread to that picture with no warning is/was so shocking, it was hard to think about the petition. Just putting a warning on the Topic line might keep people out and those who do click in to the thread, will still have that same reaction, as many have had.
So, we decided it was best to remove picture and post the link to Snopes.com

Sorry guys only new to this site, viruses and the like never crossed my mind. Don't plan on posting anything as graphic as that again, but I'll give advanced warning in future.

The first time I saw this I almost threw up. And I generally have a pretty strong stomach about things like this, but I could not even look. Now I have seen it floating around FB so much, it doesn't really phase me (the graphicness of that image, I mean). I can see where it was removed and am glad it is just a link now.
I can only imagine that poor creature, struggling as they taped his mouth, the panic he must have felt as it was lit and he struggled to get away... and then the incredible pain... it just makes me sick that there are people like this. I would love to blow those a******s faces off myself.
Whatever you do to an animal should be done to you... I have always been a firm believer in that.

Somebody posted a link to that a few weeks ago, supposedly it happened in Australia??? I cannot bear to look at it again, i was ill after the first time, & had nightmares for days....the poor trusting little soul. I hope he learns in heaven how many are truly sorry this happened to him.
