Finding it a bit difficult to grasp that that came out of 'quality European lines'.

I've seen worse.  Probably what hasn't helped is the extensive and clumsy photo editing to 'remove' the handler stacking the dog, resulting in spoiling the pic, and the stack isn't great, makes her back end look weak IMHO.  I think she looks rather nice in front.
But hey ho, who am I to criticise.
The point of my replying to your post though, Vikram, is that I think it might be a bit hurtful to the people who posted her pic for you to make a comment such as "WTF is this."
If you don't like her, fair enough, but with all due respect, there's no need to post a link to her pic in order to be mean.

Well said Maggie and I agree. I think too she is a little overstacked.  She is probably a mix of Canadian/American sl and German sl.

Lets see some pictures of your dogs Vikram. It's only fair if your going to criticise others.

Can we really always blame it on the stack? Every time a dog looks as if it has a poor structure, people blame it on the way the dog is stacked.  I can't say for the first dog, but what about this dog? Honest question.....Bad stack, or poor structure?

It's a sin to post comments about someone's ads on the PDB (or so I have been told,,,,,more than once).  The advertisers are the most important aspect of the PDB (or so I have been told,,,,,more than once) and must be handled with kid gloves and dusted and polished every day for without them the dog world would be lost and PETA would rule the universe.

GSD Guy I vote both--poor structure and poor stack.

Thanks vonissk.  I've seen a good number of show line advertisements with ones I thought looked great, and many that were the extreme opposite as well.   I don't always know if it's due to the way the dog is stacked or what.  Some of the dogs I've seen......I just couldn't see how they could get much better stacked properly or not.

Certainly not my cup of tea, but obviously for some it is. The dog won 2009 best of breed. This is the type of structure the American & Canadian showline people are breeding for. I do think it is a shame that they are breeding such extremely angulated dogs. Having said that, I think the poor Photoshop techniques used and the less than perfect stack didn't help.
