I have not used the pavers but have used rubber horse stall mats (4' x 6' x 3/4" and weigh 110lbs ea.). Most larger feed stores carry them.
I love them.
They are easy to clean (not so many seams) and hard (almost impossible) for the dogs to lift up. They are also cheaper in cost per square foot.
These mats also come in a thinner thickness, but I would not recommend them because they are lighter and easier to move around.
Hope that helps, Good Luck.

Yeah, they are a real B**** to move around.
I usually roll them up (with much grinting, one side at a time) to clean under them or lift a corner (with even more grunting) and slide them out of the way.
Also, since they are in the inside area I don't have to move them very often because the dogs don't potty on them.
How big are the pavers you saw at Minards?

What surface will the tiles be on. I like them and can think of some uses, but it's going to get old pretty quick if you have to move them on a regular basis to clean underneath.

My kennels right now are on the ground. I have some that are cemented and some that are not. I'm thinking of having them on the ground, but I'm up in the air about it right now. Nothing is set in stone yet.
