I want to pull this dog from the Downey shelter if he comes up for adoption but Im in Vegas. Is there in that area that can help me get him out? If so I can call the shelter and pay for him over the phone.

I think Las Vegas is at least 300 miles from Los Angeles and then add the mileage to Downey. You cannot get to Downey. So, what is the puller to do with the dog? How does the puller know who you are?
Sorry to sound so negative, but the puller needs to be careful and are you to be trusted with the dog?

Im not sure I get your point. Why cant I get to Downey? I do have transportation. What plans do I need for a dog thats sitting in a high kill shelter? Maybe to get them out so the dog isnt euthanized!!!!! Be my guest and you get him out. Thats ok too. That will save me the hundred or so dollars in gas, a motel for the night, and fees for his release.

The shelters in LA are terribly overcrowded, euthenasia rates are crazy, I would love to help you save that handsome boy!

I have too many dogs and so could not house him or get him to LV. I did send the information onto another list. If that is not ok with the monitors, so be it. I did try to help you.
I have so learned not to trust humans, that if I was close enough to pull him and you did not take him, I would be stuck. That is why I sounded as I did.
