Fenrir

Hello all my name is Jaime from Salt Lake City. Brand new to the boards here and to real working German Shepherds. I got my first German Shepherd 2 years ago because I had always wanted one since I was a small child, my father told me they were too aggressive so I grew up with Collies instead.

It took me 27 years to finally get a shepherd and I was so happy, unfortunately when it came down to it I knew nothing and ended up getting a shepherd that was AKC registered thinking that meant something. My first dog Rikku ended up having horrible breeding and has really bad hip dysplasia and is highly nervy and fear aggressive. I was sickened at the fact someone would breed such a great breed so badly so I got into the history of the shepherd and started reading about Max Von Stephanitz and what the dog was meant to be.

I decided I wanted to get into Schutzhund and that I wanted to help better the breed. After hundereds of hours of research and reading books and watching DVDs etc I decided on the next puppy I would get. So here I am saying hello to this forum and group and hope to gleen much knowledge from you all. Here is a link to my new puppy 13 week old Fang. I plan to take her to her SCHH3 and maybe one day become a breeder. It all depends on my new puppy and how hard I work I suppose.

It is a really bad pic I know, I will be posting a Stacked pic here soon so you can all see her build, which is actually really good. She has a lot of Karthago in her which I am excited about let me know what you guys think.

Yeah I see that she is related to a lot of the dogs on these forums so I assume that to be a very good thing :) Now hopefully I can train her right, I have all the dog I need it is all on me now.

Looks like your off to a good start.

How often are you able to take him places other then the training field?

We are always out doing different things, going to different places. She has her issues here and there, she is dog re-active a bit and still is not as barky as she needs to be. Her drives are crazy however and she is starting to slowly come into her defense drives.
