Transport boxes
Transport boxes need to guarantee a safe trip for your animals. Transport boxes have requirements to meet. Also it is obligated to consider the welfare of your animals. The International Air Transport Association (IATA) states those requirements and conditions in the Live Animal Regulation Guide. We only produce and deliver boxes that meet these requirements.

Dogs and cats:

For dogs and cats it is considered that they must be able to sit down and stand in upright position. They also must be able to stand and sit in a way they can't hit the ceiling side of the transport box with their head. Adjacent to this, they must be able to turn around in the box without having too much difficulty.

It is necessary for connections and doors not to open too easily. On the market, transport boxes are available which are assembled with a click connection and/or are have doors which close on the top and bottom with a simple rotary knob of synthetic material.
(See the picture on the right next to this text). These boxes will not be accepted for transport by us. (For approved models, see the picture on the left of this text).
Different models which have the same principles will be approved by us.
It is not allowed to put additional things on the inside/outside of the transport boxes, like food or toys following safety regulations. Single sided blankets or cloths are allowed. Pillows of which the contents can not be checked, are not permitted.

Other animals:

Sometimes animals need to get transported in a different transport box then mentioned above. We produce transport boxes following the IATA-regulations, completely under our control. Prices on request.
