Afternoon everyone,

If we delete you guys are not happy. If we do not delete you guys are not happy. What will make you guys happy?

Since I see so many complaints we will go back to a very strict enforcement of the TOS. Is that really what you want or is what you want drama?

I see no way to please you folks and for the record we have been very thin at moderator right this minute. The holidays are coming and we are busy. Some on vacation and some getting ready for big family parties.

Question: Do you want us to go back to a very strict enforcement of the TOS?

I agree with Red Sable and would like to believe we can put on our big kid panties and just not raise to baiting tactics by others rather than having to moderate at that minute a level.

I personally feel the moderation has been excellent! I also  celebrate the actions of the moderators! I feel that any positive reference to micheal vick in his football exploits posted on this site is inflamatory in nature!Now if the positive posts about micheal vick were ones of his philanthropic   donations to dog shelters across the united states ? these I would say were worthy of posting on this site and would go a long way to the redemption of his character in the dog world! the topic of the thread was  of vicks proposed ownership of a family pet!  Not of his expertise and adoration on the football field! If I offended anyone by equating thier support of vick in his football exploits as pieces of dung I do apologize! I do ask that those who idolize him to do it else where ! As has been said all to often this is a dog forum and not a football  field

Then the next step is to block the people doing the disrupting. With the amount of posts in the last few days,  I was under the impression for the most part you guys like the new approach to the moderating. 

It seems pretty off the wall that some of these same people complaining are pretty prolific defenders of free speech and off topic posts. I think the moderators have heard enough backseat moderating and unless you want to pm a moderator with a problem and a link lets let the moderators do what they feel is best.

I think we have moderated fairly and consistently. I see we have had lapses in coverage and we will be adding more moderators soon.

Lets get through this year and the holidays and then we will be taking a look at the TOS and maybe make a few other changes. Oli has made some behind the scenes changes and I will continue to push for a few more things to be done.

Now lets get this back on topic or we will have no choice, but to close this thread.

I believe that Raymond stated the violations very clearly above.   His comments were Off Topic / were inflammatory and baiting.

Regarding enforcement of the TOS -- Either enforce them ALL - or none at ALL.   To enforce sporadically will just create more problems IMO.

Stop the backseat moderating. Stop second guessing the moderators.

In other words just stop. Most everyone else left their comments and moved on, now I would suggest the few others do the same.

If I have an issue or an inquiry that I wish to discuss or report  to a moderator aside from continued posting on a specific thread how shall I contact the moderators? I have not seen any links to contact the moderatoers other than the one to contact oli! Is oli's link the one I would use to attempt to adress an issue? thanks so much?
