"the mere mention of his name in any context other than prohibbiting him from ever owning a dog is a clear and blatant violation of the tos on this site!"

Exactly which # of the TOS would that be?

BAITING -- I don't know if there is a TOS# for it; however, it has been mentioned that it will not be allowed by the Moderators -- but, it was allowed to continue yesterday.

9.Please keep your language clean and decent. This include personal inflammatory language as well as obscenities.
10.Please stay within the topic area of the forum you are posting a message in, and within any topic that another poster may have started.
 # 9 any posts that praise and glorify a convicted dog torturer and murderer  on a german shepherd dog forum would  be and is  considered personally inflamatory language! As well as being considered obscene in the nature of it's context!  # 10 any post glorifyng or praising a convicted dog murdere and torturer in his football exploits on this site is clearly a violation of not remaining on topic of dogs or remaining on the topic of michel vick ever  being allowed to have another dog!  Now both of these terms of service also fall under the topic of baiting to start arguments or  inflame the passions of dog lovers!

Seems to me a Moderator did indeed step in and not allow the football discussion by saying the football discussions had to stop.   And they did.

"mention of his name in any context other than prohibbiting him from ever owning a dog is a clear and blatant violation"

Uh, no it's not.  Saying, as some did, that if the law decides after his probation he can have a dog doesn't violate the TOS.  Nor is that "personal inflammatory language."

I agree Raymond.   Plus, to add insult to injury, bringing up OJ and also "celebrating" him was clearly "off topic" from the Thread.    Additionally, both of us were "called out by Name" by the Moderator, while the clearly offensive, baiting Posts were allowed to stay on the Forum.    Why ?

No, the football posts did not stop.

raymond's post calling other posters "pos" was not deleted.  It's still here; I just went back and read it.

I read Maggie's post before it was deleted.  For those who missed it, it was a specific personal attack on a specific poster by name.

If you can't handle a discussion about a controversial person then you should avoid threads that inflame you personally.  You know, "CLICK" and move on. Or some just have to get their knickers in a knot and like to police the content when we already have moderators.  That sounds like a good "Why?" to me.

Ace's opinions are 'out there' I agree.  I do not agree with him at ALL, and hopefully no one else does either, but I did not see him call names back at you.  He didn't violate any TOS that I saw, maybe I missed it?

by TessJ10 on 20 December 2010 - 17:12

Maggie, that is simply not true.

LOOK at the thread.  After the posts by the Moderator, there were no more posts discussing the game.  None.  All anyone has to do is look and they'll see that you just posted something that is outright false.
