I'm splitting this off from the In Memorium thread, because it really doesn't belong there... Biv1996, do you actually have the original email from the breeder of your dog in which he/she states that you should still show the animal despite the fact that he's a cryptorchid, and furthermore offers the suggestion that you could always have testicular implants inserted in order to show said dog? If you do, you really, really have an moral obligation to report this to the registering organizations, both here in the US as well as any foreign registry organizations to which the breeder may belong; it is improper and unethical for a breeder to suggest such a thing to a buyer, and can result in the breeder's registration privilages being stripped from them. Be mindful that you would need undeniable proof in order for the organizations to investigate the complaint and take any action, but these days courts are accepting original emails, complete with all headers, as valid evidence of correspondance from an individual. Rather than sling mud on a message board, better to actually take some concrete action, if the scenario really did play out as you've described it.

I have all documentation.....emails.....As far as my dog, he is a great! He will have the undecended testicle removed and have him neutered at the same time in 2 weeks. I find it hard that this breeder states it was there when he left but the vet check from the breeders own vet stated he was cryptorchid. AKC didn't seem like they wanted to bothered when I contacted them last year about this. I had to post to the other thread when I seen this breeder putting there 2 cents in about whats right and wrong.
