Just got the new publication of the WDA Newsletter and Wow is it SUPER. Great Job to all! For those of you that show the Carolina German Shepherd Working Dog Club is a "must" to experience. This club puts on great shows and everything from Hotel to Show Grounds is super! We make the trip every year (now our third attendance) and it is worth every bit of the travel. Again, Great Job to the WDA staff on the Newsletter and thank you CGSWDC for another great show.

My copy just arrived. While there are many obvious plusses of the current format over past issues, I have grave concerns about editorial impartiality. As the primary 2005 NASS show organizer, I submitted (timely) two articles for this publication, along with numerous photographs. Neither article was published. Nor were all of the photos published that were intended to accompany the judge's critiques (translated by Ute Frantz), most notably those of the VA dogs. Indeed, the editorial treatment of the 2005 NASS would seem to relegate the event to only passing noteworthiness. This attitude flies in the face of the realities of North American Sieger Show participation versus strictly sport competitions. Nearly 500 national NASS Sieger Show dogs participating versus roughly 30 WDA Schutzhund National competitors.
