Hello,

I used to be able to add titles and change pics on the database... but now the little boxes at the top of my dog's page are not there? How do I edit and change my dogs info/pics without these little boxes?

Thanks,
Jacob

Try refreshing the page...if it doesn't do it then close out of the data base and come back to see if that does it.  Other than that, I'm out of ideas.  I checked and the boxes are on mine so I'm thinking it has to do with your computer.  Good luck!

There are many web browers in use these days and most web pages are adapted to us all of them - within limits. I use Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 and have no issues with this web page.

There is a setting inside Internet Explorer 8 that may help you. Select "Tools", then select "Compatbility View Settings" You can select "Display All Websites In Compatibility View" if you wish, or just add this one to the list - your preference.

I know that several other people have problems seeing various features of this website, and I've had none. I will say this though; several days ago when the Stuxnet Worm was making the news I was attacked by three (3) viruses in a "drive-by" type of way. They had piggy-backed onto Windows Updates.

The Vipre software stopped the attack, but some files in my Windows XP programme were damaged and could not be repaired. I could not access Windows Updates. I do not want to go into a lot of details but I did work with Microsoft's technical team (free if you are dealing with Windows Update issues). I downloaded a Kapersky virus killer and used both it and a malware scanner while the machine was in "Safe Mode" with the Vipre disabled.

I found remnants that were still quarantined from my previous antivirus software - Norton 360 , a.k.a. junk. I thought I had all of their garbage cleaned out but I was wrong. I cleaned those files out, rebooted from the CD-Rom with a XP CD and placed the machine into "Recovery Console"  and let it repair a few files. It  now runs flawlessly.

So, I suspect that anyone who is having problems may have a machine infection or damage that cannot be found or repaired. It is time-consuming, I must say. And, one must have a licensed copy of the OS software (XP in my case).

So; try the compatibilty view settings and see what happens. This is an easy step to make.

Best Regards,
Bob-O
