I have not heard back from Campnor who sell Bogs boots, Perhaps they will not bother as i live in europe
I looked on Mucks Boots and folund two pairs i liked but they are both out of Stock, just my luck
I do not want a boot any higher than 8''. as my Tracksuit bottom or Dickies trousers go over the top. I guess i will have to look elsewhere if the firm does not reply in the next couple of days

I love the bogs and the mucks but I'm not excited about spending that much on a pair of boots. I get the Sloggers for about $25 a pair with shipping off ebay. I can buy 3-4 pairs for what the others cost and I have an assortment of colors. Since I make my daily living with dogs, I wear them every day, 7 days a week from late September through late April. I may be being a bit girly, but sometimes I just want something different. The Sloggers go up about midway to my knee, occasionally I wear some higher boots, but not usually.

Mucks are not cheap but I have joint problems in my right foot so I can't cheap out or the shoe/boot is too painful to wear more than 5 minutes anyway.  I've seen some really cute Wellie knock-offs but they are either unbearably uncomfortable or just a thin layer of waterproof and my toes freeze in the winter.  I also like how my Mucks fit close to my leg, they are slapping around like I see with other people's boots, but they aren't tight either (I can wear several pairs of thick boot socks and I tuck my pants into my boots).  Really the only other brand of footwear I can wear comfortably b/c of my bum foot is Merrell but for dog work and tracking I want a really high boot that is flexible rubber almost to the knee (since it often snows feet rather than inches where I live).  I wear those thick, heavy Mucks even in the summer humidity, or I lay tracks barefoot if I track on "manicured" grass.  Unless it's very muddy or I'm training in snow, for protection and obedience I switch into a pair of Merrells.
