So last night was homecoming for my 14 year old daughter, and when her date came to pick her up, damned if that dog didn't push her way into heel position. I missed the photo a second too late...she was looking up the kid, escort style! Too bad the dog can't go along on all her dates...

And only a dog kid would come straight home from the dance to go to bed; she had to be up early for BH this morning, which they passed today! Yay for my girls!

In my opinion the more important event of the weekend...boys, psshhhh....a dog is for life!

I got bad news today regarding a friend in the Netherlands.  Your pictures and pride in your daughters awesome accomplishment made me smile and forget about the bad things in life for a while.

Thank you for sharing.

What a great event to share with us, from the night before to the BH accomplishment....Congrats to all of you. That is truly team work and dedication on your daughter's behalf....Itsn't it great when these youngsters revolve a major part of their lives to include our beloved dogs.....Very heartwarming....

CONGRATS to her!. Yeah wouldnt it be great if you could send the dog as chaparone? There is no better judge of character than a dog friend. Wish I could convince my son of that.

Congrats to your daughter...Why not let the dog go...that way for sure , if the boy is not liked by the dog he won't stick around...
As pretty as she is, it is either a cage for her or the dog on a date...!!!!

Dogs tell us a lot ...we need to listen to them more often.

Here some flowers for the daughter and  a dog bone for her  gsd.

Great pics and congrats! We gave our 13yo daughter a puppy last Christmas. She was up early this morning tracking with us, not many of my friends could say that LOL. She is working towards a BH in spring (pup just turned 1 this week).
The 19yo son, who is in his second year at Auburn, decided this past summer to learn helper work. He is already talking about the first dog he'll be getting as soon as he graduates.
I love being able to tell people that Schutzhund is a great family sport and letting them see the kids working at our club.

She sure cleans up nice! Beautiful girl. Dedicated, too. Congrats on her accomplishment. Nothng more empowering for a young girl than knowing she's got her dog at her back.

Congratulations on your daughter and her dog handling skills on the BH!
