Has anyone had any dealings with either of these breeders -- Hunt German Shepherds or Vom Haus Merkel.
Before purchasing a puppy I would like to know the experience others have had with them.
I am looking for Larus von Batu / Ursus von Batu line puppy. I would like to find one in the US, I would rather not import from Europe.

I know Martha, she has very nice dogs. She takes great care of them. I've seen pups out of her litters and they all have been VERY nice. She is also very honest and upfront.

I purchased a female from Martha Hunt and found her to be straight foward, honest, and in excellent care of her dogs and litter. She raised them with utmost care and the pup arrived confident, gorgeous and ready to take on the world. I would never hesitate to purchase another from her in the least. Thanks so much for your feedback. I am hoping to get a pup out of her dogs Dux and Tirza. It makes my dealings more comfortable knowing others have had a good experience.

I met Dux at Pittsburg NASS and he is a lovely dog with impecable manners lol and I have admired Tirzas photos should be an excellent litter. i understand completely about the cautions of who to buy from went through it too. i am relieved my experience was a fantastic one. My girl from Martha is on here she is Aleit V Haus Roxbury

Diane Merkel (vom haus Merkel) has been breeding GSD's in Dallas for 20-30 years and is very knowledgeable. She has access to wonderful dogs through Bill Fleischer, as well, as he sometimes kennels some of his dogs with her. I would recommend that you give her a call.
