If you mean sled dog working... I had my last GSD on a sled dog team, nothing too much, a 2 dog team just for fun. I had 2 GSD's at the time. One refused to have anything to do with it, the other LOVED it and would scream just like the huskies when being harnessed. From my experience, I would be cautious doing this with a GSD. They are built so much different than huskies. They're bodies are not meant for pulling, they are meant for propelling themselves over a long time. I can't say 100% that it was the sledding but my one GSD developed severe arthritis (his hips were excellent) down his rear legs. So bad he needed steroid shots to get him up sometimes. Now, I still have GSDs (working lines, so I have to deal with even less angulation than you might have to) but my dogsled stays hung up in the garage. I can't risk breaking down my dogs body the same way. If you do still try, make sure you match the team with their speed (ie dont put 3 siberian huskies and a GSD, there is no way he could keep up.)
