I just got done building a wall with all that old scrap wood. It may not be the best, but it sure works! I plan to make it taller as he gets used to it...

Its amazing how creative we can be with so little to work with....Surprising you didn't have to look far, and and aliitle imagination and you put this together....Thats a great idea... Think I am going look for scrap wood..

That's great, Kelly! But why keep the posts so high? It prevents you from teaching a young dog on lead. Anyway, good job!

That is a good point...I didnt think about that. I just have so much control over Cam he doesnt usually need a lead.  I will have to saw them off for the next.  They are so tall. We had to dig down 2 foot to put them up and they are still way to tall!

Good job Kelly just a thought  though, if instead of scewing or nailing all but first four bottom boards make the boards removable so like is said you can take them off for a young dog to learn
To do that is easy and little work, Nail both sides where you want to put a board a small  piece of wood a little thicker than the board that you have on there now to the uprights both sides, then nail or screw another block on top a little longer so the Plank slots on top you can then lift out any amount of planks you need to get the lower height for a young dog, it will be just as strong as you have it now
