Has anyone experienced a version of Pyometra that does not involve vomiting or fever?

Yes. The dog got really lethargic and wouldn't eat for days before I finally took her in. Those were the ONLY signs.

Pyometra can act in two ways closed or open. Open the uterus can expell some of the infection and you will see a greenish/grayish slimmy smelly stuff come out of her vagina. Closed the uterus is filling up and can finally break and expell the infection into her and it is very deadly. You do not win with pyro and it is best to spay her. I have had two females with it and it is not fun..good luck.

Our female had "open" Pyometra....and expelled very little secretion....almost unnoticable. She ate well and acted "almost" normal...BUT drank TONS of water!! Since we knew we bred her two weeks prior....a red flag immediately went up. We decided to spay her.
