$5k for a puppy with an untitled dam and granddam? Yikes. He is beautiful, but for five grand he better poop gold nuggets.

No doubt this puppy is genuinely red, the bloodlines behind him will generally throw a SUPER red pup or two per litter.  In my current litter I have a REALLY red pup, going to hold her back for a while (as well as her less red sister), will post pics later.  The pup is very well structured, a VERY nice puppy overall and in all honesty as long as character is very good 5K is not excessive for a very well structured young dog with a good character.  I wouldn't base quality on titles, I have had import litters from titled females and VA sires that have turned out extremely crappy, as well as SchH titled dogs that have no idea what a sleeve is or what sit means...not defending the breeder but just my own opinion. 

My dark red/black dog is very different from his littermate sister.  There are ten in the litter and I see some of them often.  One of his sisters is basically his twin.  Another looks totally different, she is more tan and has a classic saddle and mask (while my dog is very black and was a blanket until he was a year old) but it is already fading with a bitch stripe.  Her conformation and temperament are also different my from dog and his "twin" sister (who act as much alike as they look).
