Uber Land

http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/662509.html

pictures were posted earlier today in the photo gallery.  I commented on him and stated he was a good looking pup,  but questioned whether his color was natural, or from a bottle (everyone remembers the drama over Gold Berg dyeing a pups feet and selling it,  just for the dye to wash off at the new owners house).  even have record of the kennel owner saying to just dye a dog for a show.

well, low and behold, I get a private PM from a VA13 person, telling me to remove my comment, or be part of a lawsuit.

anyone else see a problem with my color question or think its grounds for a lawsuit?

I don't think asking if a dog was dye'd or the pic was photoshopped (which happens all the time on this forum) was grounds to threaten a lawsuit.

I don't see how the comment/question is any grounds for a lawsuit.  I also think the color *could* be natural (my show line male was every bit as dark and actually darker, possibly deeper red at that age), but given the breeder's history who knows?

well, I didn't see any way to delete my comment,  though I don't think it should be deleted anyway.

Its stupid to threaten a lawsuit over such a little thing.  and as you said, with this person's history, who knows.

besides, the picture of the sire is not the same picture as on her webite,  it the picture posted here on the PDB makes him look darker red.
this is from her website:

just not as dark red. and the mother is pictured with the sun behind her, so you don't get a good example of her color either.  so don't post and tell me to read the pedigree.

mom is out of Jando, so the website says, again, not a super red dog: http://www.kennelgold-berg.com/german_shepherd_jando.html

another pic of the sire.  I just don't see the parents producing a super red, almost purple in areas looking pup.

sorry people for ranting, I just don't like someone sending me PM's threatening a lawsuit over something that isn't even worthy of a lawsuit.  don't post pictures on an online forum if you do not want comments or questions to be posted about your dog.  its as simple as that.  especially if you have history of doing what was questioned.

Consider the source!    Truth IS a defense, you know and there are too many people who copied that "how to dye your dog" post, if not the entire thread.

There were only 9 (male) and 3 (female)VAs in last weekend's show, so which show with 13 VAs are you referencing?

the person who sent me the threatening pm screenname is VA13.  and they have been a mewmber, but only posted 1 time since 2007
