I gave my dog promeris for demodex, and it has made her lethargic, she slobbers out of both sides of her mouth, she won't eat, she is drinking alot, but she has lost ten pounds in two weeks, Promeris is a horrible treatment for dogs, if you love your dog don't give it to them....she did fine the first treatment then the second treatment she is now extremely ill, she is a full blooded german shepard,  the vet is trying ivermectin as a last hope, if it does not work she has to be put to sleep. She is only one year old. so please pray for her..

K9dixie,      I am so sorry to read this post....I will pray for your girl too. I lost my male 6 months ago he was only 1 year old....every time I think of him I will pray for your girl....and thats about a dozen times a day......

did she have a stroke?  have there been any convulsions?  i wouldn't be putting any more chemicals in or on her.  give her a chance to throw this off.  if she survives you can worry about the demodex later.  poor baby.  i feel for both of you.
