I have been ask many times what color is my female - I always say black/red - but when I google black/red I don't come up with anything that looks like her - bi color doesn't fit her either - Please give me your comments on what you think she is... I have included a front view and a side view...I do not wish to hear about her  stack - I am not in to showing- only schutzund - I just want some input on her color..Also Please post pictures of your idea of what you category you think she falls in - I would like examples and see lots of pictures of dogs that fit into her category.that might be similar in color......YogieBear

Blanket back - you got to be kidding?  Where is the blanket?    GSDtravels - please give me a little more detail what this description is please...Also, if you would please give me pictures of why you think she is what you say she is..

I think she is closest to a bicolor. Some say ..........large blanket but again ..............we cant show a blanket.

I would think of her as a Bi-Color.
Yogie, why do you not consider her to fit as a Bi-Color?

I also think from the pics she is a Nice Black and Red in coloring.

Blanket black and tan.  The blanket just means it covers more than the typical saddle, but is not a true bi-color.  Melanistic is the more technical term.

Maybe a bi-color but a bi-color is genetically different than a black and tan/red (or sable).  A bi-color with more tan can look just like a blanket black and tan but the difference depends on genetics.
