GSD fraud? - Page 1

Maggie, I'm not attacking or defending anyone, I'm just stating facts about the op as I see them.I too like other breeds and think some are beautiful and if Tina and others are establishing a breed that stands on it's own, I have no problem with that. But lets face the facts here, although this is a general topic message board, it still remains for the most part a gsd discussion board, anyone spending a day or two here will clearly see that. Anyone crossbreeding a gsd and talking about it here would have to be a little naive about the outcome. I can understand Tina's dissapointment about what's happening in the Shiloh world, but I think she needs to address the Shiloh breeders about the problems she's having, thats the only people that can do anything to help her situation. I would think that anyone seeking to establish a new breed would have to deal with the same problems,the only thing I can see for her to do is continue with her line of dogs and control what she can, as I said before nobody has control over anothers breeding practices.                      Michael

No, Maggie, the General Topic section was not 'taken over' by the GSD people, it was started by us.  Long before you were ever here, this entire site, including the pedigree database, was devoted only to the German Shepherd Dog.

I was using this site for the database long before there ever was a forum and there were no other breeds here then nor when the forum was opened.  If you had been on the site at that time and had saved a link to the forum, that link would bring you here.  You need simply to look at the url in your adress bar to prove this to yourself: http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/bulletins_read/...  Does the address say pedigreedatabase.com/general or pedigreedatabase.com/all breeds?  Nope, it says pedigreedatabase.com/gsd.  The separate German Shepherd forum was an afterthought that came years later when Oli decided to allow other breeds to register their dogs in the database.  My point is that we didn't have to 'take over' amy forum; we were already here.
