True .. but the Shiloh Shepherd HAS been under development since 1974 http://shilohhistory.com/ However, most of the dogs you see "out there" lately are NOT coming from MY group -- but from the FRAUDS that are breeding YOUR dogs (GSD's) and using my name to get more $$ for their pups!! You guys need to wake up & smell the GSD http://shilohfraud.com/

pretty sad. Shiloh = mixed breed, oversized, long-coated, dysfunctional "dog" that is bred to have ALL of the major faults of the GSD breed, and call it a "purebred". For what purpose other than to make money? I find that very sad.

It is my understanding that Shiloh Shepherd breeders not affiliated with the ISSR have used over 100 GSD outcrosses and tried to gain UKC recognition. http://www.shilohshepherds.com/letterToUKC.htm
Tina Barber has not claimed Shiloh Sheperds as German Shepherds so I can't see where Shiloh Shepherds should be criticized as frauds. Frauds would be those breeding GSD's and calling them Shiloh Shepherds.

Tina did raise GSD's under the kennel name of Shiloh Shepherds. I believe the ad you posted is from the 1980's.
She didn't write the breed standard for Shiloh Shepherds till 1990.

Shiloh Shepherd, King Shepherd, Labradoodle,Gonoodle, cockadoodle, what's the difference? It all comes down, as usual, to M-O-N-E-Y. That's clearly why Tina Barber is here whining about someone else using inferior gsds in a breeding program for Shilohs.

How much does a Shiloh cost that it would be more lucrative to sell a GSD as one?
