BP’s Response to Oil Spill Lacking, Officials Say (Update1)
“BP’s current resources are not adequate to meet the three challenges we face,” Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal said. “The three challenges we face are stopping the leak, protecting our coast, preparation for a swift cleanup of our impacted areas.” Jindal, speaking yesterday at a press conference with federal officials in Robert, Louisiana, said he had urged BP to seek additional federal help.

MOONS, I CAN"T HELP "CRYING" EVEN IF IT IS TOO LATE, I THINK I AM GRIEF STRICKEN. I AGREE HUMANS CAN'T FIX THIS. THE ARROGANCE OF MAN: THINKING IT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN. YES IT WILL, IF WE ALLOW THEM TO BE BUILT, IT WILL ALWAYS BE THE SOURCE OF DISASTERS NO ONE CAN REPAIR. NO ONE.

BP contracted with a drilling company. The fault is with the drilling company,
For instatnce - if you needed a water well drilled in your back yard and you contraced a drilling company to come out and do it. if the company managed to hit a pocked of natural gas or oil and this caused an environmental mess. the fault would be to the drilling company, not to you. that is why companies are bonded and insured.
BP is a trying to be a good steward of the environment and doing all they can to manage the spill. BP has been giving the EPA all the info they needed from day one. The news has been going crazy too...... If the whitehouse doens't know its becasue they choose not to know......
I have a feeling that an environmental whacko group did this becasue they were upset on the new drilling legislation that was signed just weeks prior. the timing is just too perfect! LOL
Get ready for $6.00 a gallon gasoline!

SM: I suppose you are absolutely serious about your post above. How does pointing fingers begin to address the real problem: THERE IS NO END IN SITE.

loss of jobs, tourism, wildlife habitat, the fishing industry, all meaningless.
The Gulf of Mexico was already endangered from our pollution, what will happen now is not going to be quick or humane.
The price will never be paid, the gulf will forever be changed (ruined).
We are all (mankind) accountable if you want to pass out the blame.
There is an end in sight.
