Okay, so I need to know if I'm the only "dog mommy" out there that bought a kiddie-pool for my pooch.

Took these pictures with my cell about 5 minutes after running her in the field with her new toy, a Chuck-It, (that by the way is a WONDERFUL invention for those of us who can't throw a tennis ball to save our lives )

Anyone else have any cute pictures to share of their kiddos splashing about in water?

PS. She's almost 6 months old now, and getting bigger every day (Lord help me )

I can't find the pictures right now, but the dogs always end up in the kids' pool no matter what I do. They tend to use it as part of an obstacle course - run through it and jump out, spraying everything with water.

Oh my gosh, Lief! Those labs are adorable! Your GSD pup is way too cute too!

When I do move, I plan on having some sort of pond that I could possibly swim in, along with my dogs! Thanks for sharing your video! Too precious!

Mine "luvvvvvved it" and also "tore it up" - hahahaha.    This year I bought him a Sandbox (the ones with the lids) -- it doesn't have as much room as the Kiddie Pool, but it is large enough for him to get in it and is made of sturdier plastic.  It is a Turtle by Little Tykes.

Very warm here today (I think) at 87.   I hooked the hose at the top of his Kennel and turned the sprayer on "Mist" -- he really likes that also.

Thanks guys, glad to know I wasn't the only one!

Lief, I'm curious though, with your labs, and all that water, do they get frequent ear infections? My dogs used to, if they swam a lot, so we ended up buying a powder you put in their ear canals that dries them out, and after that, no more yeast infections in the ears :)   (just curious if you had problems because of the water)

MaggieMae, it sure is warm here too! I wouldn't say  87, but certainly around 70-75ish, I would think! Sun is shining, birds are singing, and my dog's raising hell with my cats...All is right in my world Hahahahah

Thanks everybody!

i USED "SWIMMERS EARS" for the dogs that got the ear infections. My daughtetr played water polo and they recommended it for her. Works like a charm! bought it in the drug stores, cheap. I also use it on my Rottie after a bath.
