Oh 4pack, I feel your pain.....I keep twisting Carl's arm, trying to get him to agree to buy a bigger property...I so miss my horses! Thanks guys, for those beautiful pictures, I am going to go crawl under a rock with my dog now......!

And Ol' Blue Eyes! That's a goofy looking hound!  jackie harris

Steph,
I love your Buckskin Sedona. We have a Chestnut Morgan mare named Whippoorwill Echo, foundation bred! Unfortunately, we are currently boarding her until we can move. Then, I am going to add another Morgan mare, preferably Buckskin, so Echo is not lonely. I found one I like and will try to get her if she is still available in the summer or so, have to go to Michigan though: www.dreamhorse.com/show_horse.php
Here is our Echo (excuse the botched braiding job):

I love Friesians too. My 12 year old daughter has been bugging me for either a Friesian or a Gypsy Vanner ever since we went to the Horse World Expo.

Ok, since we are posting our horses, here are mine!

This is Montadocs Starlight, aka Lucy, granddaughter of Grays Starlight and Montana Doc...she is actually due in one week with a foal by Smart Lil Highbrow:

This is Texanic, aka Sierra, Reminic and Tejons Peppy Doc granddaughter:

And last, but not least...my babysitter mare (and my first OWN horse)  Sweet Battle Buck, aka Bucky:

Silbersee,
My girlfriend in Minnesota used to raise and show Morgans, her's were old foundation lines too, I do like the Morgans too.
But the foxtrotters are sooooo smooth...<G>
Rose looks gorgeous...what a shame, my girlfriend just gave away her buckskin morgan mare...!!!!
She doesn't have any left now and is looking at the Friesian's too....there is a Friesian farm out here with some gorgeous horses...just seems a waste for trail and mountain riding though..

I can ride any time I want here. All I have to do is go out and break that pony in the middle paddock.
Hmmmm

I'm with you 4pack,
I miss em too.
Can still smell the barn, the hay, sweaty leather and the horses.
Never enjoyed cleaning stalls but one wouldn't be too bad.

Im a Grey's Starlight fan....Smart L Lena too. Should be nice.

Yes, she does look gorgeous and I would love to get her, but my hubby won't let me buy another horse until we have our own horsebarn. Funny, we own 20 acres right now, bordering a state forest but since we have plans on moving, we won't invest in a building and fence anymore.
Doesn't anybody else here own Morgans? I would love to get some contacts for one or two nice mares (foundation bred only though).
As to Friesians: I am going to let my daughter ride at the Friesian Farm in Stukenbrok, Germany when she visits my parents this summer. Maybe, that will get it out of her head.

A couple of years ago, we thought about importing a couple Warmbloods from Germany, either Trakehner or Hanoverian because they are much more affordable in Europe but decided against that after we heard what transportation would cost. Too bad because all my relatives live in German horse country, around Warendorf and Telgte, North Rhine Westphalia. My uncle's neighbor breeds Hanoverians.
So, we somehow came to the Morgans and we love them.

WOW Chris,
She oughta have tons of fun!!! I envy her...
Yes warmbloods are still costing plenty here now.
Just check out the Morgan Horse Club Registry and then they will give you the breeders around you...
