 Schäferhund Verein (SV)

by hodie on 28 February 2010 - 01:02

Bhall is correct. The entire formal name of the organization is Verein für Deutsche Schäferhund. Translated it means Association (Club, or Society) for German Shepherd Dogs.

Bhall is correct with Schäferhunde Verein or "Shepherd Dog Club". Simply; it is the abbreviated form of Verein für Deutsches Schäferhunde.

Bob-O

Wow, Hodie. I guess we posted at the same time. I hope that things are improving for you in Colorado. I think we are still in the coldest winter of thirty (3O) years in Tennessee. It has been a miserable two (3) months here with temperatures each day from 15F to 20F below the normal temperatures. Today, it was 50F with a lot of sun and it felt very nice, even though it was 10F lower than normal.

The youngest bitch started blowing her coat just over a week ago, so surely the spring is not far away.

Best Regards,
Bob-O

 Hi Bob-O,

I am sick too of winter. We have a storm on the way as I type this. And it has been really cold most of the time. So with your weather report from today, I am a bit jealous.

I hope all is well with you. Hope to see you posting more often. Some of the knowledgeable people are coming back!!! Need you too!
Best regards.

Bob-O, I'm in North Al. and can't believe how cold this winter has been here. Saw a (flock, herd, covey, ?) of robins in my yard this week, so maybe relief is on the way.
