A friend just got a blue dobie pup. She says it is a blue. Do blues still have the tan markings on face and chest and eye brows??? This dog has NO tan markings at all. Looks like a Weim. Just wondering if there is such a thing as an all blue Doberman

Blue is a recognized color but they have the tan markings. Never saw one without them.

Yes. The markings will be light, but should still be there. Blue and Fawn are the diute colors of the Black/Rust and Brown/Rust colors. They normally cull these puppies in Europe.

Some don't have markings.I had one that I rescued from being put down cause the people said he was aggressive. He is living the life at my friends with her mom. He didn't have ant tan but he was a true blue...a very dark blue...kinda slate color(delusion of black). There was another blue I knew of that was in one of my classes....she didn't have tan either.
