Thank you for all the input and well wishes!  We took her to the e-vet.  Did x-rays, no visible blockage or twisting of gut or bowels.  Completed bloodwork, and it came back fine.  Did a fecal smear and there was signs of ?spherocytes?  The vet gave us some Clavomox, told us to try and get her to eat something bland and keep a close eye on her.  If she vomits it back up, has explosive diarrea, or gets worse, we are to go back in tonight.  I boiled her some hamburger and white rice and she ate it all, about 1 1/2 cups, and is now asleep in the chair.  He said if we have to go back, he will do a barium test to check better for a blockage that may not have shown up on her first radiographs....so basically we still don't know for sure whats up.

Keep us posted as to how this progresses.  Hopefully it's just a bug and the meds will fix her up.

Been busy...I called in sick for work Sunday night, hubby did Monday night, now one or the other of us is off til Saturday night.  I stayed up most of Sunday night trying to get her to drink and keeping an eye on her.  She had no improvement what so ever by Monday morning, and our regular vet wanted to see her.  She has an infection, but still not sure where.  On antibiotics, stayed at the vet all day with IV fluids, had a fever of 105 and they got that down.  My hubby picked her up Monday evening as local vet is not 24 hr.  He gave her fluids subcutaneous? late Monday night.  He will take her back in for another day of IV fluids.  She has been eating her boiled hamburger and rice.  And is acting better now than she has been.  During the check up, our vet said she is starting to come into heat, vulva slightly swollen and a little bit of pink tinged discharge.  She said that plus the infection she is fighting could be the reason its so bad.  Hopefully after another full day with fluids and meds, she will be much better.

I see that every once in awhile a dog with fever and infection of unknown origin,  its very scary, they usually give them baytril and rimadyl and the ones I had got better pretty quick ,maybe get some canned ID they usually love that stuff

She is doing much better.  Still not 100%, but I'm not worried about her anymore.  She spent all day Mon. and Tues. at the vet, on IV's with multiple small feedings during the day and spent the nights at home with a dose of subcutaneous fluid.  This morning her temp. was down to 102.9 and she is acting close to her old self again, so the vet removed her catheter and sent her back home...Yay!..We still have to give her the Ringers Lactate subcutaneous twice a day until Friday for a follow up.  We started adding some of her kibble back into the hamburger and rice today, so tomorrow she can go back on her normal food and eating schedule.  I'm so relieved she is OK, but I'm not too happy with spending $1,000+ in the last 3 days and not knowing what exactly this was!

I am so glad to hear that your pup is doing better,  I was very concerned about the 105 temp. and it sounded like she was really dehydrated.  Wet down her food too will add to the water intake. After the broad spectrum antibiotic is finished make sure you watch her temperature again.
Always,
Cee
