2 year old White American Shepherd "Saxon" Rescue
80-85 male neutered. Good health. No cats or small dogs at this point. Way to much prey drive. Needs
someone with big yard or is active. Needs someone who understands leadership and
Willing to commit to a training program! Will make an excellent guard dog and deterrent!!!
he needs more times from his handler/owner than I have and now that he is 100% again he
needs to find a good home. Fine with kids but may knock them down and lick them to death.
Needs supervision and direction(boundaries) to maintain healthy family life. Il send his crate,
bowl, collar and Shot Records w/ him. PM me if interested. in central MD.
Extreme play drive(ball, tug, anything)
Good hunt drive
High Prey drive
Very protective of home!
I took him in as he escaped from his previous owners and ended up in a large ditch drain being rescue by local fireman who hoisted him out of it. I took him in and nursed him back to health per say and now I need to find him a home. I posted a couple pictures below to show his dimeanor and socialness with other animals but He has thickened up and put a lot of muscle mass on since those pictures.
Will provide more pictures upon request.

Well I hope that you are able to find him a good home.He seems like a good dog being able to get along with your other males.I too am trying to find a home for this one lady's GSD.I almost took him then thought a bit harder that I don't need another male....especialy one that is intact and dog aggressive.I already have a dog aggressive dog.Good luck

We feed our state police with rescue dogs here. They end up being to much for home life so we get them and if they can pass the quals they go. Well saxon was one we were trying to place as a dual purpose dog but they didnt want a white shepherd even though he is a better candidate than some of the ones we have sent.
I would rather have 3 males with ego's than 2 wanna be alpha female dogs any day of the week! Ive got a few friends with issues right now. Good luck with your placement as well and count your blessings.

Yoschy, I don't see how you ever expect to place a dog whose head is on sideways!!

He's cute, loads of personality I take it? Too bad they wont give him a job! I hope you find him a home. I'm too far away to even think about it and need another male GSD, like a hole in the head as well.
