My martial arts studio was Dragon Karate Studio. After I stopped teaching and decided to indulge my self in the GSD the name was simple Vom Drachenhaus = From the Dragons home.

Bojovnika....Slovak for "The warrior"

Was created with Martial arts and the Samurai Warrior's stict code of ethics in mind that I relate to the GSD breed.  But a quote about training Greek Warriors that I later read in an article by Nate Harves is very fitting as well...

"Out of every 100 men you send me, 10 of them shouldn't be here!  Eighty are nothing more than targets! Nine of them are real fighters, and we are happy to have them, for they the real battle make.  Ah, but one...one is a warrior! And I must find him; for he will bring the others home!"

Hi Jessie,
sorry, one more....." Vollmerhausen" translated into english does not mean "Full House" ! Actually, there is a small village by that name near Gummersbach, with around 2000 peopel living there.
If you refer to poker terms, there would be no translation - a full House is a full  house either in german or english.
Here a quick translation for you name :
full = voll
house = Haus
so if you mean you have a "full house", meaning you have a lot of peopel over, the correct translation into german would be : " volles Haus", " das Haus ist voll".
There is no such word in German as "Vollmerhausen", not even in slang. It can only be a name, like a last name or city name, and these dont normally get translated.
An alternative, if you want to stick with your name (and want it to be correct), could be :
"vom vollem Haus"

My kennel name is Mirrwood. I am a big Northern Soul/Soul/Motown fan and Mirwood is an old LA record label. I added the extra r. All my dogs pet names are soul names like Stubbs ( Levi Stubbs lead singer of the 4 Tops ), Rosie ( Rose Batiste 60,s Detroit singer), Irma ( Irma Thomas 60s soul singer ) , Quincy ( after Quincy Jones), Wanda ( after the Wand record label) and currently Gabbie ( Gabrielle).

Just for your info.

A friend of mine who imported my Axel for me Ed Freer (who is also waiting over the bridge now)  always told me he named all his female GSD,s after strippers?
