 I found that I'm too late to reply to the post dealing with if the Brindle GSD is purebred. I have attached a link to someone who has her daughter that is a registered brindle saddle back GSD. At this time, they do have puppies and they are black with brindle legs.

yes, and the mother and pups have provisional papers.  mom was DNA'd and the pups will need to be DNA'd before AKC gives them full reg.
mom's parents were also DNA's, but there was a grandsire who passed on before DNA was taken, thats why there's the provisional reg.  AKC wanted 3 gen. of DNA to give full reg.

Hmmm, I kind of like the way they look.  Is a coat w/ brindle acceptable by the standard?
No Dutch Shepherd anywhere in the lines?

Wow... those folks have got everything under the sun... a brindle, livers, blues, long coats, wolf dogs... it's a one stop shop for exotic breeding.  $weet!
