Does anyone know the owner of this dog, Bart vom Leerburg, so I can contact him for breeding.

Thank you.

Contact Ed at Leerburg.com
It may be a long shot but worth trying.

Your first mistake would be breeding to anything that comes from Ed Frawley.  Great speaking voice for videos, not much knowledge when it comes to dogs.  There are reasons why Ed is no longer allowed at USA events.  For years he has taken videos of people training, without their permission or consent, and used them to make a profit.  His breeding program has produced more dogs with bad hips and suspect temperaments than it has success stories.  Randy Rhodes was probably the only one to handle a Leerburg dog and produce quality results in recent years and that was due to his skill as a trainer and handler more than anything else.  If I may ask, what is it you like about this dog that you can't find anywhere else?

found the pedigree..
The sire side must had been AI..
The dogs on the mother side are not titled, The males are.. one of them is border patroll dog..

The hips look tested and passed..
Ask the breeder who has the dog, contact the AKC if the dog was registered. I have never met The Sire, that dog has been dead for long time.
Unless you want to have that Sire's linage in pedigree I would also give a chance to living dogs that have titles and nice lines.
Good luck

BTW look for the littermates also, some might be available for stud

ya know, we all have to decide for ourselves on issues like this, but personally, i wouldn't touch this dog with a 10 ft. pole.  i'll wager that 99% of breeders who know their stuff wouldn't touch this dog either.  take a poll.  it might be interesting to see what the results are.

Phil youmay have been making some point here, but you fucked it up by saying this, Randy Rhodes was probably the only one to handle a Leerburg dog and produce quality results in recent years and that was due to his skill as a trainer and handler more than anything else.so you think the dogs genetics had nothing to with it.i can you tell you that it does not matter who the trainer is name any trainers you think are the biggest trainres, even they can not take a dog beyond it's genetics and if thwey say they can they are fucking lieing.that is how important genetics are.have a nice one.

I disagree that Ed's dogs and breeding program is not good. Just because you do not like the man does not mean that his dogs were not good. Anyone who breeds as many dogs as Ed did is bound to come up with some HD problems. But do your research into the dogs!!! There are several OFA Excellents with Leerburg stamped on them!
I own Randy Rhodes dog's daughter who is 3/4 Leerburg and she is fantastic along with being related to the OFA excellent dogs that Ed has produced. BTW the sire of Bart is one of the OFA Excellent dogs who also produced OFA excellent progeny.

I own a 5 yr old female whose sire was purchased from Ed at a year old, out of the "u" litter (Otis/Jenny Tiekerhook)
Her mother is a hungarian import out of a 2X National hungarian working champion.  My girl has a wonderful temperment, very outgoing and can be trusted around adults and children.  she is very good with other animals.  She can be a little bull headed at times but overall is a very pleasing dog.  She is not a "Small" female, but very heavy built. only complaint I can give is she is pretty much blind in both eyes at 5 yrs old. She may be about blind, but she can still clear a 6ft concrete wall with no problem.   whether this was a freak thing that happened or a genetic problem from either parent or combination of pedigree, I don't know.  but she was spayed.
