sams club exceed dog food oily bag and kibble darker. i fed it to 3 dogs.  Wish i hadnt. so far nothing but iIstarted noticeing the bag is oily, at first I thought they did something new to protect the bag from ripping. But the new bag has ants under it, the old bag doesnt. The food is just oily and different. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Switch to:

www.frommfamily.com

I have used that food in the past and all the other crappy foods out there, I finally found a dog food that makes
sense, it is family owned and operated for 4 generations, made in America, and the Fromm family was the first to make kibble
dog food, and invented the distemper vaccine for dogs!

So far so good, my dogs have been dining on Fromm now for close to a year, I really don't think I'll need to change foods
again

I also throw them raw chicken & beef & liver along with Fromm,

Good luck with your next choice,

Paula, what price range are you talking? I like the look of their ingredient list.

Hi Okie,

I go to a boarding kennel here in Salisbury and she gives me the breeder price which is $ 26.99 for a 33 pound bag.
I get at least 3 or more each visit, I have been watching the prices of the iffy brands of dog food go up, and you're
paying for food that you have no idea where or how it was processed, I am really glad I came upon this brand,
I love the fact that they are a family owned and operated plant, too bad I don't live near Wisconsin, I would love a tour of
their facility!

watch out for the barley, many GSD's do not tolerate it.
the grain free kibble is 30% protein which is a bit high.

from my expereince, Hero and Mattie would not do well with it, thought Vanna and Sita would.

its very hard to find a single food that works for a pack of 4, so far TOTW bison and venison is working -  I just bought 2 sacks and haven't seen a difference in product yet.

now if a can get plug out of Sita's gut.............

Fromm is a good dog food,
i feed this one too and it works well on the dogs.
a bit more expensive for the four starr , but worth it.
