I'm fairly new to this board.  Is there a moderator for this board?  I didn't think so, but so many posts appear and disappear.
Who does that?  The OP or can anyone just delete?  I've been reading here a long time and sometimes I go to check on something and poof, it's gone.  I have no need to delete anything I've said or maybe even plan on saying (because if I say it, I've thought about it beforehand, knowing it'll be out there for all to see.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that I want a moderator.... then nothing would be posted that could be debated and learned from.  I'd just like to know how complete threads disappear .....and damn, that is the one I was looking for!

Nope, nada, zip, zero, except of course for the mysterious poltergiest of the PDB who does exist, somewhere, somehow, sometimes.

Not only have posts disappeared, but seems like since the site shut down earlier today the deck has been reshuffled.

My observation has been that threads bashing a breeder can get removed (by Oli? by Videx?) especially if there is a lawsuit threat.  Sometimes posts in threads disappear - could be the poster had second thoughts or those above did. Sometimes I leave for a while and not only have posts and threads disappeared but the board also looks different. The look is probably Oli making changes. Pedigrees sometimes get changed by gremlins, found and changed back.

I needed to delete something I posted earlier today. The database won't let you do it. The best you can do is make a blank post. So, obviously, someone has moderator capabilities. My vote would be for both Videx and, of course, Oli, the site owner.

The site crashed my computer today and then shut down.  Perhaps Oli had some house cleaning to do.
