This is the UK... how can a judge (Italian) run a bitch first in Open bitch, say that she is the best bitch in the show, then put another in front of her because she does not have a Sch title or a Kk1?  He did NOT apply this ruling to the Open dog class... so what the Hell was this about please?

If that was the case, I would ask how does the judge know what each animal has or has not !!

Missbeeb.

I was not at the show, but the people i have spoken to who were, did not seem very impressed with the judge.

Regards Paul Rattigan.

Sincere thanks for your reply, Paul.

How can this happen?  How can a judge be allowed (by the KC / Club committee) to judge to rules NOT applicable in this country... AND apply them to only ONE class?

Joyce, because he asked every handler the relevant questions!

And if this was his criteria, why didn't he apply it to all adults, and why wasn't the female with the qualifications made BOB  instead of the younger female with none ???
Why didn't the stewards point out that the working qualifications are not required here, neither is the knowledge of the parents relevant either, it was an open show not a Sieger event..............
More of the same injustice that keeps on happening in what is supposed to be a hobby for a great many of us, and it is only the begining of the year....... any wonder people vote with their feet and stay at home!!!!!!!!!!

I was at the show and had a bitch in the class. My handler was asked questions by the judge but did not understand due to his accent. There was a discussion, at some length, with the stewards, both Champ. Show judges, before the results of the class were given. I can only assume that the way that the results were given was approved by the stewards. I also saw the judge being shown the catalogue on at least one occasion........
