Here is a link to the pedigree and if you click on the sire or dam you can get photo and 3 generation pedigree.

If a breeder is not honest of what and how he produced what he did. Do you think any part of the contract would mean anything more.

Thanks, mahon

Thanks Mahon,

That explains it a lot more then just the pictures, as I have breed sables for many years and never had a brwn or liver one, strange,
Just looked at the pedigree, very interesting on the Sires side.
Still think they are very strong puppies

Luvmidog,

Yes, that is correct. In August I went searching for a Timo daughter all over the world. Vella was the only one I could find that was V rated Sch. titled and KKL 1 that I could find for sale that was still young enough to breed and buy. She is a nice dog but now I know her and my male both carry the liver gene. I figured they both would carry the coat gene because they both are plush coated. I was not expecting anything like a liver gene as I have never produced or seen one in all my years in the German Shepherds. Now we both know that Germany has it in many lines and have been destroying the evedince or the breed wardens would have seen it.

Just my thoughts, mahon

Thanks for posting the pictures. It's not a sight we get to see everyday.

My SV score books show Zico to have V show card and  IPO 3 AD with scores of 270 to 280. I changed his titles on pedigree database after I purchased him and saw his actual SV papers. However Martina Lampe owner of Zwinger vom Merlin and the breeder of Zico vom Merlin has gone back in and changed it back to Sch 3 and Ipo 3. I have E-mailed her in the past to ask for proof of Sch3 title but have never received a responce. I have also tried to contact Dusko Tordinac the trainer and owner during the time he was titled for IPO 1-3 and have had no success tracking him down either. So as I see it he has V, IPO 3 AD and KKL 1, a2 hip rating. That is all documented. If someone knows Martina personally ask her if she has the documents that shows Zico to have a Sch 3 title. I would like to know where it is.

Thanks, Mahon

Great posts Mahon. Now this is what this database is for. Honest inteligent posts for information purposes. Thank you Mahon for being honest about yours dogs and the breeding. It is very interesting to see the dilutes in pictures like this. I have never seen one in person. Very interesting how genes just pop up, or don't sometimes.

I had the pleasure of playing with these tykes last week, what cuties!  I've never seen liver before and was amazed at the steely blue eyes and cinnamon coloring, actually very pretty!  All have wonderful temperments, very outgoing.  The head on the "normal" sable is stunning!
