For those of you that have never seen one. Here is a pic of a liver/sable next to a blk/red pup. Both parents are german imports purchased from members on this board. V Zico vom Merlin IPO3 KKL 1 and V Vella vom haus dexel Sch 1 KKl 1.

They are very stout, good structured and have large heads and sound temperment. Just have odd color though he is very neat looking. He will probably be a very handsom dog when he grows up.

Why do you say liver sable, is he brown, and what makes you use the world sable, Lovely looking pups and so out going by the picture

Well it it clearly a sable . I would think the nose color being brown not black would be the dead give away it is a liver . I would love to see it as it grows into it's adult color . I have never seen a liver sable nor any other liver full grown . I hope we will see more of the little champ in the future .

Here is a photo of two brothers to the liver/sable. 1 sable the other liver/tan both males 5 1/2 weeks at picture day. 10 days ago.

Londontown, The markings are the same as a sable. The color is more of a cinnamin tipped instead of a black tipped and the nose is brownish and eyes are blueish, now turning tanish gold.
