So there are working lines that have problems too, so what?

was it just my computer or the video on Max had some timing issue. There is definitely some problem with the video. I have the original both in normal speed and slow motion

Ahh, he had a bad day.  Who knows what happened, can't be all bad if he made it to the WUSV.  Must have some conformation line dogs in the back of the pedigree.  Wait was that the WUSV or the North American Siegar Show the bite work looked so similar.....He would have gone VA a t the SS....

As bad as that was, the sieger show protection is just as bad if not worse. The difference is, at the sieger show all the dogs are as bad as the dog in the video.

So what is your point, You found a working line dog that is not that good and thought you would use that video as proof that working line dogs are inferior. Your a piece of sh#@, grow up and face the reality that those crippled animals you call gsd's (I’m talking about showline gsd's) are just weak character false representation of what a true gsd should be and that is a working dog.

Here is a better idea, why don't you get off your as$ and go train a show line dog to a national level where the helpers are not paid to powder coat the protection work. When and if, you and your crippled animal ever make good work at that level then maybe you could come back on here and comment on how you and show line dog showed the working line folks what biting is all about. The truth is you will have a hard time finding a show line dog that can make the work and until then maybe you should keep your mouth shut.

Sadly, for every working line dog you find where that happens (in the video) there are hundreds more show line dogs that will have an equal or worse reaction.

If you want to prove a better point...dig around Youtube and find videos (other than sieger show "performance test") where show line dogs demonstrated true working ability. It should be easy!

The point I am trying to make here is that we should not generalise, There are bad working line dogs as there are bad show dogs, each good dog out there though , is a German Shepherd, and a pride to his owner.

What's there to generalize, there are bad dogs everywhere. The question is, how often can you find a show dog on the same calibre as the stronger working line dogs? That's where the difference lies.

Agreed.  Besides... Showlines wouldn't have the word "show" in it if it were meant to work... so why do people bother trying to talk about how a showline can work?
